On the 26th of March we will be holding the second Ecstatic Church experiment in Berlin.

This will be the one of many Ecstatic Church services and is part of the wider movement of the Church of Ecstatic Earth and we invite you to come and experiment with us together.

We are trialing Ecstatic Church with the express intention of understanding how Ecstatic Church can become a space for a community to come together in response to planetary environmental emergency.

The first part of this trial comes in the form: Earth Mass.

EARTH MASS

We believe that in order to respond fully to our current global crisis, we need to remember who we are in connection with the whole, the whole of humanity, the whole earth, and from that place take the ecstatic action true to each pulsing, ecstatically alive human cell.

Earth Mass is a community held space with the intention of doing just that, of helping us remember ourselves as part of an ecstatically alive planet, done together, on a weekly basis.

It is a ritual of unity, of embodiment, dance, music, prayer, poetry, play, of experiencing the earth alive in our individual and collective body.

Earth Mass is an invitation to:

1. Feel the pulse of the Earth and how the earth wants to sing and move inside of us.

2. Bring us into an embodied experience and remembrance of ourselves as single cells of the one life of an ecstatically alive planet.

3. Remember how the earth wants to live through us, wants to love through us, wants to take ecstatic action for life.

Imagine what it would feel like if when you entered a church you were entering the core of the earth?

What if the walls held you in the heart of the planet and you knew yourself at home there?

What if planetary emergency and spirituality could come together in the heart of community?

What if church could provide a space to crack open together to the shared vulnerability of living together in crisis?

We want Earth Mass to be free and available for all, and we are grateful for your donation if this experience touches you.

Something warm to cover yourself in. A little simple food. This can be fruit, a little bread, chocolate, a spread, a little ceremonial wine, whichever earth calls to you. We will put this food on the altar and then eat the food and drink when we commune.

HOSTS

Pontus Liljefors is a Swedish singer-songwriter and facilitator, with his roots among the pine trees and blueberry shrubs of the Stockholm archipelago. His music is a declaration of love to the miracle of life, and his songs blend the lyrical Scandinavian tradition with epic chorals and electronic elements. His dream is to unite humanity at the altar of life to create the world our hearts are longing for.

Tuulia is a shamanic singer and modern day priestess. Her work is dedicated to the liberation of the full expression of the voice of the soul, through opening the body, mind & heart as a channel between Matter & Spirit. She stands for the reclamation of the inherent wild innocence of the human being. Her mission is to bring you ecstatically alive & to deeply touch your heart.

Dom Bury is a poet, writer and speaker based in Berlin. He is dedicated to the body of the earth and listening to how the earth of his body wants to respond to planetary crisis. He loves bringing people alive and inspiring people to do what brings them alive.
