Introduction to Inuit throat singing

Inuit throat singing aka.“Katajjaq”, originates from the natives of the Arctic regions of North-America. It consists of breathing sounds and growls, both on inhalation and exhalation, in repetitive trance-like patterns portraying sounds of nature & animals.

We will meet as a group on Monday’s (3rd, 10th, 7th, 24th) in October via Zoom call at 7 PM CET for 60-90 min.

Sing yourself through portals between worlds.

Part of this immersion is a set of exclusive private holistic shamanic vocal & soul mentoring sessions to support your overall transformational process.

You will have access to three 45-60 min private sessions with me, in which we can dive deeper into your Katajjaq practice, drumming, and/or hold space for any emotional healing that might be needed for you to shine with your voice and unique vibration in the world.

Inuit throat singing is traditionally done acapella in pairs or accompanied by a drum. If you have one, you are invited to include it in your singing practice, even if this course will not be focusing on the drumming.
