Would you like to dive deeply into the mysteries of the voice? Tuulia brings both ancient and modern knowledge of voice and drum as instrument and medicine. Through singing, toning, and various vocal practices, we create a shared space where everyone can express themselves freely.
.
We will journey into the world of intuitive soul singing, inspired by Nordic shamanic vocal traditions such as Joik (literally: soul song) from SΓ‘pmi, Northern Europe, and Inuit throat singing (β€œKatajjaq”) from North America.
.
We will explore themes such as body awareness and vocal technique, improvisation, and voice archetypes β€” to name just a few.
.
You will also deepen your connection with your drum and its spirit. Allow it to guide you into the depths and the higher realms β€” into the earth and into your own heart. Together we will explore the different rhythms, vibrations, and sounds of the frame drum.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced singer and/or drummer β€” this work is meant to empower and inspire you to trust and follow your inner and outer voice.

This is a space for radical, authentic self-expression β€” your raw, wild power, your subtle softness, your freedom and beauty. Intuition is at the center of our work as we connect with the natural intelligence of the body and activate drum and voice as healing tools.

Please bring your own drum if you have one β€” we also have many available to borrow or purchase.

FOOD & ACCOMMODATION:

It is possible to stay overnight at the venue and book breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
On Thursday, April 16, there will be a concert, and you may stay onsite until April 19 (maximum 3 nights).
You are also welcome to join without staying overnight, attend as a day guest, or bring your own food and pay only the workshop fee & Use of room (15 CHF/day).

is a shamanic singer and a modern day priestess. Her work is dedicated to the liberation of the full expression of the voice of the soul, through opening the body, mind & heart as a channel between Matter & Spirit. She guides individuals & groups in the art of soul singing, embodiment, drumming, vocal archetypes, rituals & magic.

Her ability to drop into a strong state of trance allows her to open portals with her voice, and channel Life in all its spectrum, creating spaces where light & dark can be experienced as One.
